Simou
Nice Flowers
Heading back to the car now, I saw these attractive flowers adorning one of the houses. Simou is very well looked after.
Undated Water Feature
There was a water feature, but is was undated. It didn't have any numbers written on it either, so I am guessing that Simou doesn't have a mosquito problem.
Water Feature from 1924
I then noticed by the church, another water feature. This one was dated, but it was very early, compared to what we normally see. There were no initials like "ER" either. Presumably, this was date stamped, and constructed, by locals.
Nice Tree
I snapped this because the leaves fascinated me. We have now left the square and driving down to and across the main road.
A Graveyard
Crossing the main road and continuing, we soon came to a graveyard.

We have been meaning to look at Venetian Bridges for some time, so today I thought I would start with Skarfos, as this is easily accessible and is the Western-most Venetian Bridge that I am aware of. Situated just off the road to Simou from the B7, it may not be the most spectacular bridge Cyprus has to offer, but there are enough other attractions nearby to make it worth your journey, as you shall see...Paphos Life Road Trip #1

A few sundays ago we were lucky enough to be visiting Simou when they were preparing for a Christening. The church which is normally locked, was open, so we had a quick look inside, and were stunned with what we found...Pano Arodes
Pano Arodes is one of the gateways to the Akamas. It is a charming village between Kathikas and Droushia. We will be featuring it in our next eBook, so recently visited it to do some research. Naturally enough, we took lots of pictures while we were there...Mousere
If you are driving to Troodos on the Kouklia - Dora road, you will pass through Mousere just after Archimandrita. It isn't a very big place, but it is worth a look around, as there are some nice views coupled with some interesting ruins. Plus, the locals are very welcoming...Good Pages To Visit
