Cyprus In Pictures - September, 2026
We post daily "Kalimera" and "Kalispera" pictures to Facebook on a topical theme. I thought it would be nice to give them greater exposure, so have combined them into a monthly article. The pictures here are now viewable in their original Landscape glory. So take a look at a selection of pictures we feel summarises how September has been in our corner of Cyprus.
Old Town Baths
We shall begin our September musings with a look at the Ottoman Baths in Old Town. Beyond them you can see a row of pictures that detail the history of Paphos. They are a bit faded now but if you are curious you should read the article we wrote on them a few years ago:
King Evelthon
The weather got a little bit cooler in September, though there were still plenty of tourists about. This is a drone shot of the Akti Beach and King Evelthon Resorts.
Artisan Delights
This popular coffee shop is opposite Caffe Nero in Old Town. If you are looking for refreshments, give it a go before heading for the Corporate Chain. You will be helping the local community and getting service with a more personal touch.
Harbour Tours
The tours are still running from the Harbour and most will continue until the end of October time. The Glass Bottom Boat tour does run all year round though, weather permitting. For more information check out the Viator website. You can search by date to see what is running when your visit is planned:
North Coast
While we do tend to concentrate on the South Coast of Paphos, the district also has a northern coast which is well worth visiting.
