Paphos Old Town In 2026 - Part 4
In part 4 of our look around Old Paphos in 2026 I take a look at the Central Bus Station and the area around Palia Ilektriki.
Cheap Digs
We shall begin today's adventure pretty much where we finished Part 3. The only difference is that now the sun is shining. Anyway, you will find Bee House and the Cafe below it near the start of the Old Town Ring Road. From here I want to explore the area towards Kennedy Square.
Burger Stories
In order to get there I will follow the Ring Road around to the turning for the new Central Bus Station. There are a number of bars and restaurants en route.
Old Alley
Not only that but there is also the occasional side alley. These are particularly useful to me as they allow me to remind you how run down the Old Town used to be. So let's take a quick peek.
Unrenovated
Away from the bright paintwork and freshly plastered walls, you will still find remnants of a crumbling past. You can certainly see why a renovation was required.
Hardware
I'm not going to dwell on the past again though, so let's walk down to my favourite hardware store and turn left into the car park by the bus station.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
