We also spotted a Russian Radio Station, who were reporting the event. I wonder how the tulips came across on radio?

These shots were actually taken after the event, as there were far too many people around to get clear shots.

We haven't seen tulips like these anywhere else on our travels. We found some in the Akamas, but they were much less abundant, and of a different sub-species.

As you can see from this shot, there are still more tulips to come.

The tulips certainly looked more impressive than they did a week ago. And as well as the enclosed tulips, there were some growing in adjacent fields, though these were considered fair game by some of the festival attendees.

All in all, we thought the Festival was a great success.
