This gap has scrubbed up nicely too. I like that they bothered to tend to the small bits as well as the bigger ticket renovations. This shows that the powers that be care about the area and are not just trying to paper over cracks.
Incidentally, this is why I always check out the toilets in a restaurant. At my age it is pretty much a necessity anyway, but you also know that if an establishment bothers to keep its toilets in order then they will also be keeping the cooking areas nice and clean. And if there was a competition, my favourite so far would be Deloubak's in the Old Town. The food was nice too!

MapPaphos Coast Path - Part 5 - Sea Front and Harbour
We've reached the Sea Front now, so we are going to have a walk along it to the Harbour and Castle. It is about an hour's walk from here to Geroskipou Beach, and if you are thinking of going there and back I would advise setting off early to avoid the heat. Having said that, there are plenty of places along the way where you can stop for a shady rest, and a number of cafes to provide you with refreshments. But out journey is not yet over. Once we have reached the castle, our adventure shall continue towards Coral Bay...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
