Paphos Coast Path - Part 4 - From SODAP To The Sea Front
Continuing our walk along the Paphos Coast Path, we start at SODAP Beach and walk to the Sea Front, passing four lovely hotels along the way, and four blue flag beaches!
SODAP Beach

After our brief interlude to bring you a report on the SODAP Beaches (and a bigger interlude to cover Kataklysmos) we are back on track today. This is the ramp leading down to the sea.

Light House Vista

In all my years of photographing this area this was the first time I noticed that you got a nice view of the Light House from here. This is the walkway just to the left of the Amavi Hotel.
And if you want to see the film version of this article, use the link below. I will repeat it at the end too.
Amavi Hotel

And here is the hotel itself, looking very swanky. This one caters for adult couples only.
SODAP Ramp

At the far side of SODAP beach there is a ramp which is presumably used to launch boats when the need arises.
The Next Hotel

After the Amavi you come to the very popular Alexander The Great Beach Hotel.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
