Old Window View
I don't know what you can do to prevent urban flight. Hopefully, as Cyprus gets more high tech, the necessity of living in the city will diminish. Plus, given the prices of accommodation in the City, village locations can become viable alternatives. Who knows, the proposed new motorway may prove a lifeline to some of the dwindling villages?
Overgrown Roses
This was potentially quite sad. Clearly there used to be a lovely rose garden here, but it is now overgrown. However, given how much rain we have had this winter, it is perfectly possible that that grass is just a few weeks old. So hopefully, as summer approaches, an owner of the land will appear and the garden will get the attention it deserves.
Definite Ruin
Now this one definitely isn't a holiday home. It has had it. Even so, it still has a padlock on its doorway.

Over the next few months we made numerous excursions, and this is a summary of what we found...Cyprus Road Trip #2: Paphos - Coast to Coast
