Chalkies'
Chalkies is a popular bar on the Strip. I wasn't sure what was happening in the bar next to it though. They appeared to be doing some more building work at Chapter 1 or Dirty Martini's.
Fish and Chips
There are at least four Fish and Chip places in Peyia and Coral Bay. Aside from Santa Marina on the Strip, you have Ocean Basket just off it, next to the Linear Park. Between Coral Bay and Corallia Beach you will find Fryday's Fish and Chips. Finally, in Peyia itself, near the Stadium, you will find Peyia Chippy, which is my personal favourite if I fancy a bit of food from the Old Country and I am in the area.

Zenta's
This is another popular restaurant and gets a lot of praise for its Full English Breakfast. And if you are here on holiday and fancy a Full English Breakfast, or a Fish and Chips meal for that matter, then bloody well have one. It is your holiday, nobody else's. Do what you want.
Having said that, Cypriot food is delicious. My top tip may surprise you. Pork Chop. A Cypriot Pork Chop is completely different to what you get in the UK. They are absolutely huge, and absolutely delicious. Trust me. But if you fancy Cod and Chips instead, then knock yourself out. I will never go along with mushy peas though. Sorry!
Tex Mex
Perhaps surprisingly, Mexican food isn't that big a deal here. You will find a few restaurants that fit the bill if that is your thing, but they aren't as common as you will find elsewhere in the world.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
