Return To Coral Bay Strip
Another Bus Stop

I took this picture to show that the bus-stops hadn't been upgraded yet. However, I already told you that earlier the article, so this picture is pretty redundant.
Oranges

To make up for that, here's a nice shot of some restaurant tables underneath some orange trees.
Les Amis

The last restaurant we feature is Les Amis. I've never been here, but their rear garden looks quite large on Google Maps (satellite), so if you are a family with kids this might be an ideal spot to take them for some lunch or tea.
Nice and Clean

I did a Street View upload of the Strip after the renovations. Google doesn't support Cyprus much as far as Street View goes. Most of the time you look you will see older pictures I took. For some reason it doesn't automatically show you the latest version, which is a pain. But if you click around, you will eventually find the 2024 Street View of Coral Bay Strip. It's worth clicking that link to see it. You can see how much the rainfall has improved the look!
Beach View

I shall leave you with a final view of the Strip. Please remember it is closed to traffic from 22nd to 24th November. When you compare it to other Road Projects in Paphos, like the TOKR Dual Carriageway, it has been a huge success. And don't get me started on the Motorway project between Paphos and Polis. That deserves its own update, when I can bring myself to write it.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
