Mystery Sign

On the way down I found this bizarre sign. I have no idea what it means. Does anybody know?

Vegetation

I'm now nearly at the bottom of the gorge. The vegetation is mainly deciduous so there is an Autumnal feel to the area.

The Bottom

There is a lot of ivy down here too.

This Way

It was interesting to note that there was no running water here. Yet, not that further up, there was. Is it underground at the moment?

The Trail

It is hard to believe but this is the route of the nature trail. It is very overgrown here, and I spent quite a while with my secateurs making a path.
