Thistles

Next in queue to bloom, we have the humble thistle. Soon these will be a sea of purple.

The Ezousa River

The nature trail skirts the side of a small portion of the Ezousa Valley. You can see in the distance where the winter rains have cut a grey trail through the green landscape. You can drive along the valley floor, on numerous farm tracks. It is heavy going at times but if you like off-roading it is worth a look.

New Church?

It looks like there is a new building further along the valley. I would imagine it is a church.

Distant Choulou

On the other side of the valley I can make out another village. I am guessing it is Choulou, though the hill to the right of it doesn't look very familiar from this angle.

Continue along here. We will soon be at the short / long route junction. If you found the track a bit heavy going on the way down, stick to the short route. The long route goes a bit further down the valley then comes up a very rough path that is probably overgrown at the moment.
