This road is very steep. You can see the sulphur spa in the distance. Earlier in the year we had a pamper day there and it was very nice.

Each summer Miliou has an orange festival. Once you have done this walk you will know where a lot of the oranges come from.

And there you have it. The walk only takes about an hour, allowing for photos. It is well worth a visit.

I cannot stress enough how lovely the countryside is around here. You will be doing yourself a complete disservice if you don't visit the area on your holiday. It's only about half an hour's drive from Paphos. And if you want to make a day out of it, be sure to check out our second road trip, which covers both Paphos coasts, and the countryside in betwen it, like this!

When we we visiting the area a few days ago, we spotted a ramblers' sign pointing to the spring, so naturally we stopped to investigate...

A short walk through the countryside around Kallepia

Now that we are getting the occasional dry day again we thought it time we started our selection of blogs on walks in and around the countryside of Paphos. For our first excursion we are visiting the village of Kallepia, situated near the Ezousa Valley and Minthis Hills Golf Course.

What Are These Mystery Tags?

I am taking a break from my normal blogs to pose a question. On my travels throughout Cyprus, while I have been photographing interesting locations for blogs, I have often stumbled across some mysterious tags. They consist of a date, and an initial or two. I have photographed them as I explored, but have never included the photos in a blog because it doesn't really fit in with the blog's theme. However, I have now amassed sufficient tag pictures for them to warrant a blog in their own right. And my question to you is simple; why are they there?
