Polis Christmas Village - 2023
The Central Christmas Tree

According to the Polis Facebook Page, the official Christmas Tree Switchon is at 5PM TODAY (Saturday). We obviously had a sneek preview when we went around.

Santa

Of course, another essential component of a Christmas Village is Santa himself. Here he is, weaving his magic. And I overheard one child telling another that it was actually the real one.
More Taverns

Away from the Main Square the Festive Spirit continues. There are more taverns down there.
Central Square

As I was finishing taking pictures more people were starting to appear. I was glad about this as the traders and local municipality have done a great job in bringing this village to life, and deserve your support.
Final Tree Shot

I'm not sure why the Gingerbread Man looks so miserable. Perhaps he wanted to be on top of the tree? Anyway, the Christmas Village at Polis is now well and truly open, so make sure you come and see it. And while you are here, stay and have something to eat at one of the many taverns in the area.
Keep an eye on the Facebook Page of Polis Municipality to see what other activities are planned over Christmas, and don't forget that this is the Schedule for Saturday (today!):
Opening of the Christmas Village - Full Official Schedule

Festive parade in the main streets of Polis with the participation of Santa Claus, mascots and dance schools
- 16:30-17:00
