Polemi in 500 Metres
Poor Grapes

This is an unfortunate sign of the times - lots of dead grapes and fruit remain unharvested on the vines and branches. Without tourists, there is less of a demand for wine, so less of a need to make more. Consequently, the farmer has nobody to buy their crop.

Nice View

I really liked this scene when I got to the main road. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it was the sun's rays peeping through the cloud? Perhaps it was the silver, skeleton-like tree in the foreground? I was just glad I had my camera.
Distant Panagia

Yes, there is definitely no snow in Panagia. Boo.
I'm walking up the road into Polemi now. I am walking on the right hand side of the road, against the flow of traffic. Admittedly, there is no traffic to speak of anyway, but it is always good practice to walk against the flow like this. I see far too many people walking on the same side as the traffic in Cyprus. It is much safer on the other side, as you can see cars coming and get out of their way if necessary.
Greetings From Sunny Polemi

Ah, the tulips of Polemi. They will soon be in bloom again, but I doubt very much there will be a festival.
The Olive Tree Restaurant

This joint is famous for its pork chops.
