The Thirteenth Peyia Carob Festival
Underneath The Arches
The place has really scrubbed up well.
Getting Ready
People were now eagerly awaiting the start of the music and dance.
Traditional Dancers
After a brief speech, some traditional dancers took to the stage. They initially told a story in dance, of a woman who got upset by a broken vase, who was then comforted by a man. I missed the start and initially thought the man broke the vase after an over-zealoud high kick. But Alex assured me that that wasn't the case.
On My Head
After that, it was time for dancing with a stack of glasses on the head.
We already published a film of the event. One of our viewers recognised this chap from a performance at the hotel they were staying in. So he's a real pro.
