Continuing our look at Cyprus villages, we are paying a trip to Giolou, which lies on the B7 between Stroumpi and Polis. What drew us there, you may ask? Read on and find out...
Giolou from Afar
Giolou certainly looks nice. We drive through it nearly every time we go to the North Coast, unless we are off-roading. But today, I needed a reason to visit, as I had to keep our 12 year old daughter entertained.
Coming in to Giolou
We certainly weren't going to visit the betting shop. For a start, there is one in Polemi.
The Barber Shop
We certainly weren't visiting the Barber's. As a confirmed slaphead, I have no need for such establishments.
This Place is Out Too
Her mother is responsible for taking our daughter for hair cuts, so this place was out too.
Flag Day
And we weren't here for the fried chicken.
