Follow The Path
Ok, I think that's enough shots of Venus Beach. Let's follow the path now up the coast, for as long as our drone lets us.
Kosher Comfort
First up is the Capital Coast Hotel. This has a number of external pools as well as in indoor one behind them. I dimly recall there being a steam room and some jacuzzis down there too. There is no beach area to the front of the hotel, just rocks.
New Chapel
This little church popped up when they were renovating the coast path. I would imagine it is a popular wedding location now too.
More Building
They are building more villas to the right here too. It won't be that long until there are no more open spaces along here. I don't think it will be any great loss, as the land that remains next to it is about as barren as you can get, with no interesting features at all.

A few years ago the Venus Beach area was a fairly rough trail over a rocky part of the Paphos Shoreline. It was notorious for rip-tides and wasn't a safe place to swim. Now though, it is a glorious, safe and sandy shore which is proving very popular with tourists and locals alike.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
