Paphos Coast Path - The Missing Link

When I set out on this adventure, I filmed my journey until I reached the end. On the way back, I took the pictures you now see. The films will be published in the next couple of days. Along the way, I came into contact with something that gave me an allergic reaction. I only became aware of this on the way back. By the time I reached here, my arms and the back of my neck were itching terribly. It felt like I was rolling around in stinging nettles, but without any rash or bumps. Anyway, I had intended to take some nice pictures showing crashing waves against the rocks, but by the time I got here I was in too much discomfort for artistic styling.

The One Arty Shot

Ok, so I managed one wave picture, but it was nothing special and a little half-hearted. When I got back to the car, I covered myself in water, but it didn't help much. I then found one of those alcohol rub bottles we used for our hands during COVID, and smothered my arms and neck with that. It was quite effective, and kept me sane until I drove to a chemist to by some antihistamines. These were very effective.

Around The Pole

On top of the rocks here is a Greek Flag. I am always puzzled why people fly these without also flying the ROC flag. But it is not my place to dictate what flag should be flown.

Fishermen

It was fairly easy going over the rocks. Just keep an eye out for snakes (always) and the occasional bit of broken glass. I soon found myself in an area where fishermen obviously parked to do a spot of angling. I have to say that the sea fishermen are a lot tidier and respectful of the environment than those who fish on the reservoirs.

Challenge Ahead

There was a little bay here, and some private villas on the right. Beyond the bay, I could see a banana plantation.
