Kissonerga Coast Path In 2025
The Kissonerga Coast Path first opened a couple of years ago. I visited it at the time, but it has since been extended at either end. So I recently returned for another look. It is the perfect place for a walk after a meal at one of the nearby taverns, with spectacular views and a nice bar at the end. So let's check it out.
Vardas View
We will start our walk at the eastern end of the Coast Path. Vardas Beach is to the right of this picture, and in the dead centre you can see the new bridge they have built to extend the path in that direction. The bridge looks complete but the walkway is still closed, for now at least.
Coast Path Carpark
In the other direction you can see the carpark you can use before embarking on your yomp. From here to Potima Bay at the other end takes about 45 minutes, so allow at least an hour and a half if you plan on doing the entire route.
New Builds
There is a new building project under construction here, behind those blue hoardings. The signs read as follows:
Ocean Kiss Villas
4 and 6 bedroom luxury villas with swimming pools.
Cynthiana Beach Hotel
The path initially runs past the Cynthiana Beach Hotel. I don't know whether it is open at the moment. I certainly thought it was when I took these pictures, but the only bookings available are for April and May next year.
There are still some sunbeds out in the grounds of the hotel.
