The bass player Michael Messios, in collaboration with the saxophonist Charis Ioannou, the drummer Ioannis Vafeas and the pianist Marios Toumbas, present contemporary jazz compositions of the band leader Michael Messios in Mediterranean, Ethnic and more jazz sounds. Michael Messios Symmetry Band was created after many years of collaboration and friendship between the four artists. The band performs regularly in festivals and Concert Halls in their homeland and all over Europe. They have numerous collaborations in CD’s, recordings and theatre productions. They are all graduates of the Berklee College of Music in Boston MA, and they hold a Master’s Degree in Jazz Music. They are also instructors of Jazz Music at the University of Nicosia and the European University in Cyprus.

The Venue
Head into town from the Debenhams roundabout and turn right just before the Makarios statue, over the crossroads then right again just past the big white court building, and the venue will be found 200M on the right with parking on the left.
