Unmolested Snow
According to a Press Report I read, they had to close Sun Valley resort to skiing because some idiots had been driving around the area in 4x4s, and had knackered the slope. Some people are so selfish and stupid, it is unbelievable how they managed to learn how to drive without killing themselves. I doubt the toboggon slope was affected though.
This Way
This is the route to the skiing area from the Ski Centre. The toboggon run is on the left-hand side of the drag lift.
Drag Lift Shed
The drag lift was closed when I was taking my photos. Afterwards, I did several driving films, and by the time I left for The Berengaria Hotel it looked like it had opened. According to the Cyprus Ski website, as of this morning, this is the only lift on Troodos that is currently open. Check the link for the latest information though.
I actually got a booty taking this shot. I had forgotten about the stream that runs through here, which was covered in snow. One more reason to wear boots when you visit!
My booty convinced me not to explore any further in my trainers, but here are a couple more snow pictures I took, just to whet your appetite.

It's been snowing again in Cyprus, on the Troodos Mountains. The brown and green slopes have been transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland. Hopefully there will be more to come, but I went up on the first clear day after the downfall to capture the amazing scene.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
