Review of 2023
Carnival Time

At the end of February the Carnival made its annual return to Paphos. This year it was held up in central Paphos, finishing at Kennedy Square.

Paphos Seafront Surprise

In March, there was a big surprise down at the Seafront and Harbour. Overnight, the area was fenced off, and the road becamed pedestrianised. Not only that, but virtually all of the signage was taken down. It was the start of several months of organised chaos.
Paphos Walkway Surprise

And it didn't stop at the Seafront either. The Walkway between the Castle and Lighthouse Beach was also closed for renovations.
Kiniras Hotel

Away from the hubbub at the Seafront, I visited this lovely hotel in the heart of Old Town.
Polemi Tulip Festival

Springtime in Paphos is a joy to behold. The countryside is awash with colour and looks completely different to the golden brown hues that Summer Tourists will be used to. In Polemi they have an annual Tulip Festival in honour of the unique species of tulip which grows in the surrounding fields.
