Trozena Waterfall
The Obligatory Action Shot
When there are big puddles you have to have a shot like this.
Trozena Bridge
So, having seen the top of the waterfall (I took Alex back in the car to have a look) we decided to check it out from the other side of the gorge. To do so, we had to cross Trozena's famous Bailey Bridge. This is a lot of fun. You can see some 360 panoramas which show it in better detail here.
How Temporary Is Temporary?
Given that Bailey Bridges are only supposed to be temporary structures, this one has stood the test of time rather well. It was built by the British Army nearly 70 years ago, I think. It gets used by big heavy lorries too, so don't worry about driving over it.
Wow
And there is the waterfall in all its glory. Seriously, we've seen a fair number of raging torrents and waterfalls over the last few days. This one is the most impressive. Plus, you can drive to this spot in an ordinary car, as of 18th January 2019.
Close Up
The waterfalls have obviously been shaping the rocks over the years, too.
