Near the main entrance to the ranch, there is a storage area and water tank. The contents of these buildings has decreased somewhat. All the spare roof slates have vanished for a start. About the only thing that remained were lots of white tubing outside. This tubing was used in the supports that surrounded the race track, so perhaps it can't be used for other purposes?

In 2016, this building looked pretty decent still. A lick of paint and some new windows, and who knows...

Now though, they don't look so pretty. Most of the tiles have gone for a start. What are the insides like?

2016: Swivel Chair Still Intact

In 2016, the inside of the dormitories, where the workers lived, was still in pretty good shape. Ok, this chair would be pretty uncomfortable, but if you swept the glass up the room would still be ok.

2018: Where Have All The Tiles Gone?

Now though, a lot of the tiles have gone. Were people taking the tiles, or were they after the pipes that ran beneath them?Either way, it isn't very pretty any more.

Kouris Reservoir

We've neglected the dams for a while. They've overflowed, and now the waters are subsiding, ever so slightly. But what of the reservoirs further afield? Kouris has a church which is nearly submerged when it is full. So we thought we better photographed this semi-submerged church while it is still semi-submerged.
