Sense By The Beach Is Open
Last Sunday, Sense By The Beach had its official opening, and Potima Bay was all abuzz. We had a sneak peak at what is in store for you, so thought you would like to see what the finished product was like...
Welcome!

So this is what Potima Bay now looks like. As well as a new restaurant, the beach side has also been spruced up a bit.

First though, let's check out the interior.
Kitchen Area?

I should point out that we took these pictures before the official opening on Sunday. They were open before then, but still finishing off the trimmings, so to speak. The proper menus hadn't yet arrived, for instance.
Central Bar

I had to rely on a hastily prepared stapled A4 menu, though they do now have the proper ones. In terms of prices, I couldn't really comment on the booze, as my only tipple these days is coffee or diet coke. But a rather impressive burger with all the trimmings and fries came to €18. This is about what you would pay at somewhere like Burger Stories in the Old Town. At Coral Bay, in the cafe there, you can get a burger and chips for €12, but it won't be to the same standard. Classic case of getting what you pay for. Anyway, there were a number of other options including light bites if you don't fancy a full meal. Chicken goujons with salad leaves and fries were €11.
Take A Seat

It was fairly early in the day but already people were arriving for a drink or early lunch.
