Polemi Tulip Report
Handsome Chap

Tabby's a pretty boy. The other three cats all have long hair (and Boy don't we know it at the moment), but Tabby is different. And not just in relation to hair type either. Minx, Mark and Patch all like being cuddled, but not Tabby. If you pick him up you have about five seconds before he is wriggling to get free. But he loves being near us. He will curl up in a ball next to us on the sofa, if given the chance, and has even been known to sleep on Alex's lap. He just doesn't like being cuddled.

SHOCK HORROR!

Walking further up the tulip field, I made a shocking discovery. There was a purple tulip growing!
Why is that shocking you may ask? Well, in previous years, the tulips have always been red. Indeed, in previous Tulip Festivals, the stalls have always sold red plastic tulips, or red cloth tulips, or pictures of red tulips, or cups adorned with red tulips. They are noted for their redness.
So why is this one purple?
Astounded Cats

As you can see, Mark and Tabby were astounded by this relevation.
Nonchalant Cats

Patch and Minx didn't seem that fussed though.
Purple is the New Red

As I walked up the road by the field, I could see more and more tulip flowers. And they were all purple.
