Paphos Seafront Roadworks Update - January 2024
Work In Progress

The access points here still appear to be under construction. This is different to the works at Coral Bay, where they were shipped in pre-built.

Landscaping Work

As you approach the Almyra you reach the start of the landscaping works. Presumably the area we have already walked up will only get a similar treatment once the road is finished. Note also that there are some more workers here.
Awaiting Concrete

Once these frames have been constructed, the concrete will be poured in.
Another Impression

You can see from this artist's impression that the pedestrian and landscaped areas will be wider than the actual road itself. I guess this means that the carnival won't be returning to this road in the future. There just won't be enough room for it and the crowds.
