Paphos Sea Front and Harbour
I've made a number of drone films recently of the Sea Front and Paphos Harbour. While I am filming, I also take the occasional picture, so thought it would be nice to show you some of them and add some information about how the various renovation works are progressing.
The Harbour On A Sunny Day

We shall begin our photographic journey at the Harbour. There has been a lot of activity here recently. All the old frontages have been removed from the restaurants and the original brickwork is being restored. You wouldn't really be able to tell that from this picture though. The flat, calm sea instils a sense of order on the scene.

New Beginnings

From what I have read, the outer awnings and frontages were removed because they did not have planning permission. This is not the end of the renovations though. There is work still to be done.
Those Huts

It does seem a bit odd that the restaurant frontages were torn down while these three ugly hulks were left unmolested though. Apparently they will be used by fast food restaurants, and will be suitably decorated in future. I know the new cafe on the Moutallos Cliffs has a similar interior, if you look through all the adornments, so there is a chance that these might actually look nice once they are complete.
It is important that they are not simply left here to rust though.
Rear View

From the rear of the restaurants you can also see how the walkway renovations are progressing. The white block is, I think, a foundation stone laid by the President of Cyprus. Since then, I believe the area has been closed to pedestrians, officially at least.
