I'm not sure what this area is about. I initially thought it was showing you wedding parafernalia, but I have since learned that they hold weddings here, so it could just be left over from a recent celebration.

Once I had finished looking around the courtyards and outer buildings, I returned to the main house. Here you will find what I presume was the typical contents of a well-off household from days gone by.

Collections

George Eliades had certainly built up quite a collection of historical artifacts. If you are tempted to follow in his footsteps I would advise against it though. You can get into trouble collecting items from archaeological sites, especially if you aren't Cypriot. If you want to collect something, collect shells, or nice shiny crystals, like we did in this article.
