Paphos Coast Path - The Missing Link
Vardas Beach

Now you can see the Kissonerga Coast Path more clearly. The car park is by the trees to the far left. You can also see the sunbeds of Vardas Beach on the right.
Vardas Restaurant

The beach complements the popular restaurant nicely. If you are here for the sea and don't want to eat, then park in the carpark above the restaurant carpark. There is a path down and you won't annoy the people in the restaurant by taking up a valuable parking space.
Vardas Bay

Just behind the beach, and next to the restaurant, you will find the Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel. I imagine lots of the people on the beach are staying here. And there are quite a lot of people on the beach, I just chose not to photograph them for privacy reasons.
Banana Dump

It is impossible to get to the Kissonerga Coast Path from here via the seashore. It is just too rocky. Well ok. It is possible. You won't explode if you try. But you know what I mean. Fortunately, there is a path above the rocks heading in that direction.
An Inch Is Better Than A Mile In The Right Direction

And here is the path. Let us follow it and hope it doesn't just take us to the main road.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
