Pano Akourdaleia Nature Trail
Meet The Trail
I am guessing that the trail was constructed between 2007 and 2013 so it is fairly recent, in the grand scale of things. The map that accompanied the text showed a linear path with a number of viewpoints along the way.

Follow The Trail
As you follow the trail, it soon becomes apparent that it is not widely used. The plus side to this is that there is not a lot of litter about.
Appreciating Nature
While my primary reason for being here was to explore the gorge, I was on a nature trail, so I did make a point of admiring the nature. I love the differences between Cyprus and UK acorns.
Nature's Gall
You will see a lot of these around the countryside at the moment. They look like a particularly ugly fruit, but they are actually caused by insects, in this case the Pistacia Hall Gall Aphid.
