2017 in Pictures
Damn This Water Shortage!

As the year drew to a close, we took a look at Evretou Dam. It is a beautiful place to visit, but we can't help but worry about the low levels of water that all the reservoirs in Paphos now have. We need rain, and lots of it. Let's hope for plenty of downpours in the coming months...

Paphos Green Points

Our most recent blog was a look at the Paphos Green Points. If you want to help clean up Paphos, you need to use these places.
The Sun Sets on 2017

So that was 2017 in pictures. We have covered less than half the blogs published this year. Hopefully you will find them interesting enough to look through the blog menu for the other articles.
At this point, we would like to say a special thanks to one person who has, more than any other person, helped us make Paphos Life become what it is today. So Max, please step forward and take a virtual bow. We all love your photos, your fish restaurant reports, and your excellent and informative guest blogs, and look forward to seeing many more in 2018.
Absent Friends

Every review of the year has a section where the departed are remembered. Our forum lost some members, and some members lost their loved ones. Christmas can be a tough time for people who have lost loved ones, and we hope that anybody suffering will seek help from their friends both online and otherwise.
A New Dawn

2017 has been a busy year for us at Paphos Life, and there will be no let-up in 2018. We have more features planned and a new website to cater for gluten-free eating in Cyprus (our daughter can't eat wheat). We also plan on making more of the features from the main Paphos Life site available on facebook, including the webcams and the directory. We will also continue to produce our blogs, for as long as people like reading them. For other new sections, you will just have to wait and see. We think you are going to like them...
And don't forget our new Facebook Chat Group. It's only been running a month but we already have nearly 500 members.
Thanks for being with us in 2017, and we look forward to bringing you more on Life in Paphos in 2018.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
