Tremithousa Gorge
Down The Right-Hand Path
Taking that path brought me into a cemetery. It is a modern one too.
Final Resting Places
This is a fairly nice spot to spend an eternity.
Walkway View
While I was in the cemetery I took a gander back towards the walkway. From this side of the road the gorge is fairly substantial.
Towards The Coast
If you were to follow the river down to the coast, you would eventually find yourself at Vrexi Beach. This isn't the nicest bit of coastline, and has a lot of problems with rubbish dumping. However, it is good for snorkelling. I once saw a Moray Eel there, and loads of black sea urchins.
Enjoy The View
Walking past the graveyard I came to the end of the path. Here it looks out across the gorge, and it is easy to believe you are somewhere far more rural. I love finding hidden views of beauty, they are like a little oasis of peace and calm amongst all the kerfuffle of modern life.
So, I was unable to bring you a big expose on a hidden gorge, but I hope you like the view. To make up for it, we shall be bringing an extra special blog to your screens in our next article. The kittens we rescued are now a year old, so it is time to wish them Happy Birthday...
