Easter is Coming!
Over the past few days, we have noticed several Easter decorations springing up on roundabouts and verges. So we thought it would be a nice idea to record some of them for posterity...
Happy Easter!
This shiny egg is placed in the same park as the patchwork tree we featured in an earlier blog. The egg is seated in a bucket, which is a fairly typical design.
Bizarre Egg Cup
This egg, however, appears to be nestled in a folded breast of chicken.
Polemi Arrangement
Polemi favours an egg flanked by two candles. This design appears four times in the village, though this one is the shiniest.
Quantity vs Quality
Whearas in Kennedy Square, they seem to favour quantity. Six eggs, surrounded by candles.
Not Just Eggs
It isn't just eggs though. Outside the museum in Kallepia you can see chickens and a chick too, assuming nobody has parked their car in front of them.

Happy Easter
We were out doing our Annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning. It took us down through the Esouza Valley, and finally to the sea. I won't be doing a blog article on the final part of this journey, as it isn't in the same league as the two sections I have previously blogged about. However, we did stumble across this shrine. At first glance, I took it as a typical shrine you see fairly frequently in Cyprus. However, a second glance revealed it to be rather unusual.Happy Easter!
