Cyprus Road Trip #2: Paphos - Coast to Coast
An Akamas Shrine
Finally, we drop down through Androlikou and the quarry, before hitting the coast road between Polis and Latsi.
Latsi Beach
By now you might be in need of a dip in the ocean. Don't let us stop you...
Latsi
The port of Latsi is a good place to get something to eat. Though to be frank, just about any tavern on this route will serve up a decent platter. You can also hire a boat or join a cruise to take you to the Blue Lagoon. This is well worth doing, though on another day. You want to set aside all of your day for that, if you try squeezing it in on this road trip you won't have enough time. We definitely don't recommend you try driving to the Blue Lagoon in an ordinary car. That can literally be fatal.
The Baths of Aphrodite
This is as close as we get to the Blue Lagoon. The Baths of Aphrodite are, it has to be said, not very spectacular. However, all the surrounding nature trails more than make up for it. Anyway, turn around at this point, and check out the cafe.
The Beach Near The Baths of Aphrodite
There is a lovely beach on the other side of the cafe, down some steps, and some stunning views.
It is time now, to head back to Paphos, but we are not done exploring yet. First we need to drive back to Polis and get on the B7.

Chrysochou lies nestled between Goudi and Polis, on the North West Coast of Cyprus. From the B7, where you will most likely have seen it, it is notable for the well preserved mosque that dominates its skyline. But Chrysochou has other points of interest, and a few surprises should your curiosity entice you to explore, including a fully restored water mill!Good Pages To Visit
