Limni Mine
Staff Quarters?
This was the sturdiest of the buildings that remained. Hopefully we would find something interesting inside.
What Was This?
However, inside, the building was vaguely disappointing. I had been hoping to find something that showed signs of life. This doesn't look like it was the staff quarters. It looks more like an old warehouse. One of the first places we found to explore when we moved to Cyprus, was the old ranch above Limassol. I guess that has spoiled us a bit.
Spare Tyres
Behind the building were a fair number of very large tyres.
Another Room
This room too had more of a warehousey feel to it.
Now, you may not appreciate what I had been hoping to find here, so take a look at the youtube clip link at the foot of the page. One of the links goes to a youtube clip showing lots of old photographs. Incidentally, the other youtube link shows a film we made of our walk. it is worth a look too.
