Seven Days In Paphos
Inside

I think the people who painted the chapel interior used it to practice before going to work here.
Incidentally, if you want a more detailed description of today's trip, it pretty much follows our Fourth Cyprus Roadtrip eBook.

Dragon Cave Beach

After Pachyammos we popped down to Dragon Cave Beach, so our visitor could get a taste of the North Coast Sea.
The Dragons

Legend has it that the two dragons that guarded the water supply in this cave perched on those two rocks.
Limni

We also visited Pomos Harbour, Limni Pier and a number of other locations along the coast. For more details consult that road trip book I mentioned earlier. If you are hiring a car on your holiday you should definitely get a copy, or even the set. They are packed with things to do. One thing they won't do though, is take you up here, to Limni Mine. I am afraid the offroad bug hit me after we had been to Limni Pier, and I took our guest the scenic route up to the Red Pool, via Limni Mine. This route should not be attempted in an ordinary car and especially not a rental!
The Red Pool

The Red Pool never fails to impress. Like Limni Mine, it is a remnant of a mining past. You can find it on the road from Limni Pier to Lysos, via Kinousa.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
