Mini Golf at Geroskipou
The other day my daughter and I had some time to kill, so we took a trip to the Island Cove Adventure Mini Golf Park in Geroskipou. As I had my phone with me I thought I would take a few pictures so I could show you what it was like...
This Must Be The Place

This wasn't our first visit to the mini-golf. We've been several times over the years and have always enjoyed it.
Suitably Scenic

I think the main reason we like it is because it is so well maintained. If you make a bad shot here, it isn't because the green is full of pot-holes, it is because you are a bad player!
Water Hazards

There are 18 holes on the course, and they are all fairly challenging. Water hazards are plentiful, which fits in with the "Island Cove Adventure" theme.

You can see what we mean about being well maintained.
At the start you get to choose what ball colour you want. They had a wide selection which may seem unnecessary but is useful if there are a fair number of players in your party.
You also get to choose your putter, from a good selection of sizes. So both kids of all shapes and sizes are catered for.
It Gets Busier

We had the course to ourselves for most of our game, which was unusual. We've never had to queue for a hole but on previous occasions there have been three of four other games on the go. Today we had arrived not long after opening, which could explain the empty greens.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
