Oniro Restaurant Is Opening On Wednesday!
A few months ago Oniro Restaurant by the Edro III was knocked down, in order to make way for a nice new Eatery run by the same people. It will take a couple of years to complete, but they have been making a temporary restaurant to keep the punters happy in the meantime. That is due to open on Wednesday, so let's have a sneak preview.
Tourist Attraction

We drove up to the Oniro Restaurant at about 9AM on Monday morning. It is a popular time of day to visit, as a number of tours have this location on their itinery. They aren't here to eat though, but to see the wreck of the Edro III in the sea beyond it. If you want a bit of peace though, you might want to arrive either earlier or later in the day.
Through The Car Park

I don't have my drone at the moment, so I couldn't fly it here. I had an issue flying it when I was visiting Ayia Napa. GPS jamming is a problem at the moment, as a result of the situation in Israel and Iran. My poor drone had got confused and flew itself straight into a load of trees. It thought that it was 2000 miles away. I managed to retrieve it but it was broken. Fortunately I had taken out the extended warranty, so a replacement is on its way. Unfortunately, it is being sent by UPS, and they are really bad in Cyprus. Oh well, it will be with me eventually. The upshot was though, that I wasn't able to take any aerial shots on our visit. So instead I walked through the car park and around the perimeter.
Restaurant Entrance

This is the entrance. I asked but wasn't allowed inside to take pictures, but I got plenty from my walk around the perimeter.
Nice Lawn

The garden here certainly looks nice.
More Tour

More jeeps had parked on the other side of the bay. That's where we often park to fly the drone, so I can relate to that.
