Time for a Booty

By mistake I was wearing hiking boots. I should have worn wellington boots. However, I took one for the team in order to get some nice footage.

Not Safe To Climb

There must be some spectacular shots in the gorge about that waterfall now. But it is way to slippery to climb.

There is a film showing this and other places we visited today. You can get a better view there.

Beautiful

It was a lovely sight. However, we couldn't spend all day here.

The Road To Peyia

We then took the back road from Akoursos to Peyia, as we wanted to check Coral Bay. Sadly, beaches are at the mercy of the elements, and in the past we have known whole beaches to get washed away. This happened to one of the beaches at the Blue Lagoon, but we also remember it happening back in Devon, England. There was a lovely beach called Duck Pond which got stripped of its sand a few years ago. We hoped the same thing hadn't happened to Coral Bay.

However, on the way there, it was clear that there were other things that also needed photographing. When I got out of the car to photograph these rocks I couldn't help but notice a small mudslide happening in the hill next to me.

It is off most people's radars and most visitors are probably tourists still searching in vain for the "suitable for all vehicles" road that will take them to Aphrodite's Water Baths. The other week we drove through there just so we could explore the hills behind it. While passing through, we couldn't help but notice a striking cave, embedded high up a cliff face. We decided to investigate...
