Above White River Gorge
Looking Back
This surprised me. Looking back to the farm we had passed, there is a long, large stone wall surrounding it. I wonder why they bothered to make this? Is it to stop erosion or to keep the goats out?
Those Ruins Again
On the way downhill I was able to get a closer look at the ruins. I don't think there are enough to qualify it as an abandoned village though.
Clever Goat
There weren't that many goats on display when I passed through. It was close to midday though, so I imagine they were sheltering from the sun somewhere, like this one.
Junction
This is why I don't film on my first visit. I want to follow the gorge down, but the main track is heading away from it. A side track looks promising, but will it fizzle out?
Nice View
You get a nice view of Yeronissos Island from here, and that's Agios Georgios to its right.
