Tsada The Scenic Way
Here Comes The Rain
Soon, the rain catches up with us. If you are doing this route in reverse, you need to turn right at those signs. If you carry on straight you will be on yet another back route to Armou. There seems to be a lot of back routes to Armou, and very few main roads.
Minthis Hills Reservoir
This reservoir is almost empty. The golfers need the clouds to hover over that spot for a few weeks.
Olympus Villas?
They must have a terrific view.
Coast Vistas
As you drive along the now tarmacked road, you come across these lovely vistas of the coast.
Welcome To Tsada
So we reach Tsada. It is a much prettier route than the B7, and doesn't take much longer. However, all is not sweetness and light. I went up and down the final part of this route a few times, to get the photos. This was purely because it was piddling down with rain, so I wanted to take pictures from the comfort of my car, and to do that, I had to be heading down. The Garden of Memories
Back in June we were approached by Geoff Eccleston. He wanted help creating the online presence of a charitable drive he was organising for the St Michael's Hospice. The aim was to build a peaceful oasis for their residents and visitors to relax in. The appeal is now well under way, and construction of the Garden began some time ago. They are still short of their financial target though, and need money for ongoing maintenance and a wheelchair ramp. With that in mind we thought we would do a blog showing you how far the project has already come. It would be great if you could dig your hands into your pockets and help them hit their total, but even if you can't, have a look at the blog and see what is possible if a group of people put their minds to it...Clean Up Paphos!
Rubbish has long been an issue in the region of Paphos. While fly-tipping no longer occurs on every hillside corner, it is still a big problem. In the last few years however, a number of Green Points have been set up throughout Paphos. The only trouble is, very few people seem to know about them. So we decided to track them all down, and show you what to expect when you visit. If you want the rubbish situation in Paphos to improve, it is in your own interests to use these places. We appreciate that a tour of recycling points won't make scintilating viewing, so we took the scenic route to bring you some pictures of the countryside too...Good Pages To Visit
