Tsada to Mesogi, the Scenic Route
Pomegranate Paradise

There are lots of pomegranates along the route here.

Turn Right Here

When you get to a big pile of rubbish, turn right. Now, in days gone by I would have had a rant about rubbish dumped out here. But I think I already ranted about it in the last blog I wrote on this area, and it is still here, so what's the point?
However, before we get too critical of rubbish like this, bear in mind that dumping recyclable and green waste with your regular trash is even worse than doing this. The rubbish here can at least still be recycled. When you dump recyclable stuff in your bins, it goes straight to landfill. Put it another way, if the spirit of Cyprus was manifested into a human and came down to have a word with us, they would have a thing or two to say to the people who keep abusing the rubbish bins.
Towards Paphos

So now we are heading downhill again. It is about to get a bit steeper, but relax, the road is in good nick here. ish.
More Nice Views!

If you have a good handbrake, stop the car as you wind down the road. The view is awesome.
New Villa On The Way?

The area to the left here has been cleared. It will either be a new villa or a vineyard, I imagine.

Tsada The Scenic Way
The usual way to get to Tsada from Paphos is to drive straight up the B7. Occasionally though, we prefer to take a scenic route. There are some nice rock formations along the way too, so we decided it would be a perfect candidate for a blog. It's also worth knowing that you don't have to rely on the B7 to get you up that hill!Good Pages To Visit

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
