Polemi Tulip Report
More Reflections

The vineyard next to the one outside our is also flooded. This happens to a greater or lesser degree every year, but it doesn't seem to do the eventual harvest any harm.

Mark Picks Up A Scent

For some reason Mark seemed very interested in this twig. I don't know if another cat had sprayed on it or something, but he gave it a good sniff.
Ready To Rock

Anyway, now that all four of the cats are on parade, we can walk up the road to the Tulip Field
Doggy Encounter

Before we set off though, a neighbour appears with a pet dog in tow. Normally if a dog passes the cats will retreat to a safe distance, but this dog is very little, and lives with a cat. So it didn't bark. Consequently the cats stayed around to say a cautious Hello.

Minx is funny around dogs. She has stood up to a yapping mutt that ran onto our drive in the past, but she was obviously very scared. When I saw it I saw it off by yelling at it, I picked her up and I could tell she was frightened. She made strange mewing sounds, so I gave her a special kitty treat.
Fortunately, this man had his dog on a lead, and it was very good natured. We had a nice chat before they went on their way.
