Peyia Village Market
The Essential Buns

Our tummies were calling us to purchase cake and apple pie from one stall and cupcakes from ‘Peace of Cake’ were added to our haul. My husband can’t resist chutneys, pickles and cheese so a few jars of these were also purchased. [yes all right dear there's no need to go on about it...]

Nellies!

To my delight a variety of Elephants were to be found; from The Guilt Free Curry Company stall to ornaments, necklaces and children’s toys.
Final Thoughts

Worth a visit one Sunday for the variety of wares; for us the sun shone, and people were most welcoming and eager to chat.
The market takes place on the 4th Sunday of each month and details can be found on the Peyia Village Market Facebook Page.

There are more Christmas Fairs in the Paphos region too. Here are fliers for two of them. Feel free to add your own, provided they are for genuine Christmas Fairs.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
