Paphos Seafront And Harbour In May
Hair Braids

Being a confirmed slaphead meant I had no interest in the Hair Braiding though.
To The Harbour

As we reach the end of the pedestrianised section of the Sea Front, let's applaud the Municipality and their cleaners who do such a great job in making sure the area looks, well, like this.

Looking back up the Sea Front, the entire area is very clean. It is a real credit to Paphos.
Shade!

And there is a little bit of shade, which people were taking full advantage of. This raises an interesting point. A few years ago the Municipality removed all the illegal signs along the Sea Front, and the restaurants had to get their respective acts together. It was chaotic for a few winter months but eventually everything was resolved. I remember talking to a restaurant owner at the time, and he was under the impression that there was going to be a covered walkway added to the Sea Front. Does anybody know if there are still plans for this? Judging by how popular the shaded areas were, there is definitely a need for more shade.
Harbour By The Harbour

Yet another popular Eatery. One of the joys of Cyprus is that quality of their restaurants and Taverns. A lot of the local food might be quite simple, but it will be expertly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Plus the portions are big too. Don't think you need to have a three-course meal when you eat out. Just see if you can manage the main one.
