We're heading out of the central area now, as we covered that in previous episodes. So if you are following along, it is time to head towards the mosque. Along the way you will see this mural. This is the penultimate image in the Story of Arodafnousa. It depicts the king getting all teary eyed over the girl's death. We will see the final image later in the article.

The building opposite the mosque is in a terrible state of disrepair. I imagine it was owned by Turkish Cypriots who were evacuated to the North of the Island after the Invasion of 1974. I remember looking inside the windows a few years ago and seeing the trappings of a Travel Agency.

I wish they could preserve some of the amazing old doors in Old Town. They are full of character but gradually get replaced.

Beyond the mosque you will find the Moutallos Area of Paphos. We are turning right here, not down the road but on a path to the right which loops back behind the mosque to a handy car park.
