Paphos Old Town In 2026 - Part 1
A Few Years Ago
This is what the area looked like when it was being renovated, by the way. It scrubbed up well!
Makarios III Avenue
Following the Ring Road we soon come back to Makarios Avenue, which leads up to Kennedy Square. Those trees were tiny saplings a few years ago.
Reform
There is also a rather nice mural on the side of a building here.
Happening
Rather than head towards Kennedy Square, I went down Makarios Avenue in the other direction, back towards the Tourist Information Centre. There are a number of shops along the way, featuring mainly clothing and jewellery.
Kosmima
Next to this Jeweller's is Danae's Art and Craft Shop. Like Pumpkin House they also have a stand at the Artisan Market down at the Harbour. The market has two groups of sellers, so Danae etc might feature for one month, while Pumpkin House and the ones appearing the next month.
