It's time for our annual walking tour of the Old Town of Paphos. How has it changed since last year? What's new? What's different? Find out in Part 1 as we start by exploring the Market.

The Old Town has been evolving over the last few years. It has been renovated and transformed into an area full of bars and restaurants to tempt tourists and locals alike. It has retained its charm though, and the old businesses still remain. Come with us as we explore the leafy streets. In the first part we start at the Mosque Car Park and explore the main Market, before finishing at the Lookout Point at the front.

October 5th, 2023
In the second part of our walking tour film we start at the viewpoint at the front of the Old Town Market, and zigzag our way through the alleys to Ibrahim's Khan. From there we loop back to the mosque, passing many bars, cafes and murals along the way.

October 7th, 2023
In the third part of our walking tour film we start back at the mosque and head towards Chloraka, marvelling at the brightly-coloured buildings along the way, and colliding with a bollard. Before we leave Old Town we turn back and head towards Markideio Theatre and the new bus station.

The Old Town has been evolving over the last few years. It has been renovated and transformed into an area full of bars and restaurants to tempt tourists and locals alike. It has retained its charm though, and the old businesses still remain. Come with us as we explore the leafy streets. In the fourth part we start at Pumpkin House and take a stroll down the leafy alleys and renovation work in the surrounding area. Paphos is changing, and Old Town especially so, as we find out. We finish at the artisan cafe near the main viewpoint.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
