While You Are Waiting...
Ok, so you can't walk along the coast path from the Castle to Lighthouse Beach at the moment. But you can go in the other direction. The following films give you a 360 view of the Coast Park from Geroskipou to the Harbour. When you watch them, remember you can rotate the camera to get any angle you want. This route is worth considering if you fancy a coastal walk while they finish the renovations.
And speaking of films, we will publish one later this evening showing what the drone saw on its flight.

Paphos Harbour Walkway Maintenance

MapPaphos Coast Path Renovations
We've been getting a lot of people ask us about the coast path between Paphos Castle and the Lighthouse Beach. You may recall it has been closed a while now for renovations. So we went down yesterday with the drone to get a fresh look at how work was progressing. You can see from these shots that they have already achieved a lot, but that there is still a way to go before it re-opens.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
